Almond Chutney

Almond chutney is a nice and flavorful chutney which can be made quickly. It can be used along with Dosa, Idli etc..

Preparation time – 10 min   

Cooking time – 10 min

Serves – 4 

 Ingredients:

 Almonds – 1/2 cup

Green chilies – 3

 Garlic – 3

 Jeera/Cumin – 1 tsp

 Tamarind – 1/4 tsp

 Salt – as per your taste.

Water – required for grinding.

  Method:

1. Soak the almonds in a little amount of water for 2 to 3 minutes. Microwave the soaked almonds for a minute and keep it aside.


2.In a blender add green chilies,garlic, jeera/cumin, tamarind and salt.

                                        

 3.Add the almonds and some water required for grinding. Grind everything to a smooth consistency.

4.The almond chutney is all ready to enjoy.This chutney goes well with Idli, Dosa, Pongal and other South Indian breakfasts.
