Tandoori Fish Fry

Tandoori fish fry is a delicious recipe prepared using Tandoori masala. Fish can be cooked in various ways either as fried in a curry or with rice. It is a most lovable kind of white meat which is used in every cuisine across the world. It is a great accompaniment with any kind of food.

preparation time – 15 minutes
Marinating time – minimum 1/2 an hour to 1 hour
Cooking time – 20 minutes
Serves – 4

Ingredients:

Any kind of Fish – 1 kg cut into slices
Ginger & garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Tandoori masala – 1 tbsp
Chili powder – 1 tsp or as per your taste
Corn flour + All purpose flour/Maida –  each 3 tbsp (if you don’t have corn flour you can use only maida/all purpose flour. Corn flour will make the fish more crispy )
Oil for frying
Salt – as per your taste

Method:

1. Wash and clean the fish, cut into slices. Add fish slices, ginger & garlic paste,Tandoori masala powder, chili powder, corn flour, all purpose flour/ maida and required salt. Mix all the ingredients by adding water little by little. Mix well until all the spices combine together with the fish slices. Keep aside for at least 1/2 an hour or more.

2. Heat oil in a pan. When the oil is heat enough for frying add the fish slices one by one and fry till it becomes crispy. Turn the fish on both the sides till it is cooked well. Remove the fish and place it in the paper towel to drain the excess oil.
