Ingredients:
Rava/Sooji – 2 cups
Powdered sugar – 1 1/2 cups
Cardamon powder – 1/2 tsp
Warm milk – 1/8 cup (required for mixing rava & sugar)
Cashew nuts – 10 chopped into small pieces
Raisins – 10
Ghee/clarified butter – 1 tbsp
Method:
1. In a pan roast the rava/sooji on a medium flame for 10 min. Keep stirring continuously so that the rava doesn’t burn at the bottom. Transfer the roasted rava/sooji to a plate and allow it to cool down. Once it cools down put it in a mixie and make it to a fine powder.
Transfer the powdered rava/sooji to a bowl. Add in the powdered sugar and mix well with the rava/sooji.

2. In a small skillet add 1 tbsp of ghee/clarified butter and allow it to heat up. Now add the cashews and roast till it is golden in colour. Add the raisins and saute for 30 sec. Add it to the rava/sooji & sugar mixture. Add in cardamon powder.
Add warm milk little by little to the rava & sugar mixture and mix well till it forms like a soft dough.

3. Make small balls out of the mixture immediately. If the mixture is too dry sprinkle some milk and mix well.
The delicious Rava/Sooji ladoo is all ready to enjoy.
